Pound Trades At 4-day High Against Euro And Swiss Franc
U.K.’s sterling strengthened against its major rivals on Friday despite a fall in European equities. The pound thus extended Asian session’s rally against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland and recouped losses that incurred in the previous session against the dollar and the yen.
Canadian Dollar Declines Against Majors
The Canadian dollar slipped against the currencies of US, Europe, Australia and Japan on Friday as traders grew risk averse after reports on Chinese manufacturing PMI and German retail sales.
