Pound Extends Uptrend Against Majors
The pound has been extending its previous session’s uptrend against other majors during Thursday’s New York session. The pound rose to a 2-day high against the yen and the dollar.
Euro Strengthens Against Most Majors
In early European deals on Thursday, the euro edged up against the currencies of US, Japan and Switzerland as a report showed that the eurozone economic confidence rose more than expected in April. The euro climbed to a 2-day high against the franc.
